- A little about yourself....
- Currently, I am an owner/partner in Environs Residential Design & Construction and have recently become a licensed GA realtor. I have been "entrepreneuring" since leaving Turner Broadcasting in 1990 to join my then-husband in a family restaurant business. I opened a wine and gourmet take-out store, The Urban Market in 1996. I started Environs in 2001 with my partner and have been designing, building, renovating and developing homes ever since.
- What do you hope to gain from becoming a member of StartUpChicks?
- It's always great to meet and interact with other entrepreneurs, particularly women. I attempted to start an educational, networking group called NOW Launch a few years ago so am a big proponent of face-to-face interaction with like-minded people. It is always surprising to me how many great relationships result from well organized groups.
