- A little about yourself....
- In 2007, my brother lost his battle with brain cancer and my partner (Susan) was diagnosed with a chronic disease. The often cited phrase “life’s too short” took on a whole new meaning. With a degree in Fashion, Textiles and Interiors and over 11 years in the Event Marketing industry, I tried to focus on a particular passion (fabric, color, texture, design, art, craft, people) and after many lousy attempts to apply a passion to my sales and marketing background, I was encouraged to stop restricting herself (by a Startup Chick) and find a way to do it all...the indie·pendent was born!
